With the beautiful weather forecast we decided to stretch some legs on my new motor. Brandon with On Point Fishing and Craig Freeman with Grading Scales fishing along with Dean and Jeff we headed out to the canyon. We trolled around but didn't have much luck, we could hear some talk on the radio about a Wahoo bite to the south. We decided with the trolling bite only producing a couple dolphins for us that we would go fill the box up with some bottom fish. The bottom fishing was red hot we caught around 100 Bluelines with keeping our limit along with some Blackbelly Rose,Hake,Barrel,Flounder and alot of jumbo Seabass that we released because the season didn't open until the following day. It was a great day on the water with awesome company.
