The weather kept us to the dock over the weekend. So the rowdy Eastern Shore crew got us back into grind yesterday. It was perfect sight fishing conditions all day. The fishing was hot and we had our limit by lunch time with the biggest fish being around 45-50 lbs and released more. We saved the guys from traffic and dropped them off at Kiptopeke. After dropping them off Jon and I went back out and caught 3 with the biggest fish being 45 inches! Thanks again guys always looking forward to our next trip!

June 26. 2015 Great Flounder fishing!

The weather didn't cooperate. We had Jim and a his buddies down from New Jersey in high hopes to catch a Cobia on a half day fishing trip. With the terrible weather conditions for Cobia fishing we decided to go Flounder fishing. We got an early start and hit the tide perfect and it was game on! In our short trip we caught around 40 Flounders and kept 22 keepers with the biggest being around 5.5lbs. June 25. 2014 

Had some of my favorite clients back out with us. The plain was to do some Flounder fishing but with the late start we wouldn't have hit the tide right so decided to go looking for Cobia. The cloud coverage made our day very challenging but we fished hard and had a great day! We landed 7 Cobia pulled a couple off and kept a limit. June 24. 2015 biggest fish 57lbs!

We had the Hammett family out with us for a half day fishing trip. The first half of our trip we went chumming, with not hitting the tide right we didn't produce many bites. With a little bit of time left in our trip we decided to go sight fishing. In that short time we saw 5 and only two would eat. We landed two nice fish with the biggest being 57lbs! Big fish kind of day! We had Mike and Greg out with us in hope of catching some Cobia. The fish were being on the finicky side for the first part of our day and not eating. Finally, they started to cooperate. We were very fortunate and got a couple shots at some really respectable fish. We kept a limit of "good eating" size and both Mike and Greg released fish big enough for release citations. Greg tagged and released a 51 incher and Mike released a stud 60 inches in length with a 27 inch girth. The fish probably weighed 70lbs! June 22 picture perfect!

Another picture perfect day. Joe, Jc and Dennis joined us for another Cobia trip. We started off with some bad luck pulling a few fish off but it didn't take long we turned our day around! We landed ALOT of fish and kept a limit of smaller fish and released several nice fish over 45 inches including two release citations 50.5 and a 52 incher! Good going on your day guys I look forward to our Flounder trip very soon!

Father day Cobia!

June 21.2015

No better way to celebrate Father's Day. I had a charter booked but with the weather on the fence and with the long distance drive they had we decided to reschedule. The weatherman was way off. Since I had the day off Jon and I pulled the boat out to change the oil. After getting all that done I spoke to a friend that was out fishing and he told me it was perfect conditions. My mother has never been Cobia fishing so after a little persuading we headed straight to the boat ramp. The day was absolutely perfect. It didn't take long we started whacking them! My Mother's first fish was a little to small but it was a huge memory! In the 2.5 hours we fished we caught 7 Cobia with my Mother catching the biggest being 45 inches! We pulled a really nice fish off but I wouldn't have changed the day for nothing. I am truly so fortunate for the great parents I have and can't wait to do our next family fishing trip.

The weather wasn't in our favor at first. We had Ryan and his family out with us for a full day trip. It was tough sight fishing conditions so we started the day off Flounder fishing. We didn't hit the tide right and only managed 21 incher. The clouds broke up so we went Cobia fishing. It was game on! We landed 9 Cobia and and kept our limit with the biggest fish being 45lbs! We had Mark and his brothers along with us. The weather for the majority of our day made sight fishing very difficult. After being on the struggle bus the first half of our trip we managed to turn our day around. We got a short window of sun and capitalized and got some fish in the boat. No better way to spend your birthday then whacking some fish with your friends! We had Johann, Bobby, Allen and David out with us to celebrate Bobby's birthday. It was a rough ride getting out but defiantly worth it. Once we got out the cloud coverage was much more than we expected. Since it was so cloudy we decided to go Flounder fishing for about an hour it was terrible conditions with the current and wind but we caught 5 Flounder with 1 keeper. Finally, the clouds broke up so we went sight fishing. The Cobia fishing was game on, we stayed very busy fighting fish. We kept our limit and released many more! We tagged and released all the bigger fish including a 52 & 55 incher for release citations. Congratulations guys that was a great day with some awesome fishing see you again soon!

It was another one of those days fishing I am so blessed to be apart of. We had Dan,Bob and Rochelle out with us. The Cobia fishing couldn't have been any better. Pretty much all day It was non stop action. Everyone on the boat was casting and hooking their own fish. We lost count how many we caught. We also tagged and released several fish over 45 inches and one being 55-60lbs! We kept our limit with the biggest fish being over 50lbs. Thanks again guys I'm sure we all will never forget that day.

JUNE 14 Cobia and flat fish!

June 14. 2015

The great fishing continues! We had Jermey and his crew out with us for a short trip. Once we headed out we realized the cloud coverage was pretty thick so we made a last minute decision to go Flounder fishing until the clouds burned off. We didn't hit the tide right at all, but still managed to scratch out 5 Flounder and kept 4 with the biggest being 22 inches. So, after an hour the clouds burned off and we went Cobia fishing. We landed 7 total, kept 3 for dinner, and released some up to 45 inches. Thanks again guys, see you back in August!

June 12 & 13th report Flounder and more Cobia!

June 12 & 13 report

One of my most loyal clients Dale and his son Colin booked us over the weekend for two days. The fishing couldn't have been any better. The first day we decided to go Flounder fishing we only fished a couple hours, we caught around 15 fish with 12 keepers and the biggest being 21 inches. After Dale had enough Flounder meat to take home we went to work on making his wife happy and bringing her home her favorite fish Cobia! We caught 5 Cobia the first day with the biggest being 55lbs and released them up to 50 inches and pulled the hook on a couple. After putting in a full day Dale elected to leave a little later and just Cobia fish on our second day. In our short trip we caught 7 Cobia and kept two and released the rest. It was a great couple days of fishing and glad to send you home with a cooler full of meat to keep the wife happy! Like always can't wait until our next trip guys.

Awesome day of fishing with a great crew. Our first Flounder trip of the year was a success. We caught around 20 flounders kept 10 with the biggest being 23 inches. June 9 and 10th report! Great Fishing!!

June 9 2015 

Extremely tough conditions today. We had Bob, Dave and Grant out with us, we couldn't leave at the time we wanted due to the bad weather, so we had a late start getting out. The weather man was completely wrong with the wind and the cloud coverage forecast. It was just one of those really difficult days fishing but we stuck it out and got a couple fish in the boat. On the positive side Dave got to catch his first Cobia. Thanks again guys for sticking in there we will get them better on our next trip! 

June 10 2015

We had ole Jonathan and his crew back out with us today. It always seems to come together when they are on the boat. Not only was it great weather with great company we caught some fish as a bonus! Even with a late start we managed to land 8 Cobia up to 60lbs and released them up to 50 inches! Thanks again guys always looking forward to our next trip!

June 8,2015 Solid fish biggest 61.5 inches!

June 8 .2015 

It was definitely bumpy on the top side today, but it was good fishing! We had Lou,Bob and Alex out with us for a trip and the day couldn't have gone any smoother. It didn't take long to get on a good bite. We caught 10 total, kept a few of the smaller fish for the grill and released the rest. Bob caught and released his biggest Cobia of his life today the fish was 61.5 inches! We also released a couple 44-46 inchers thank you guys for choosing Salt Treated Fishing see you again soon!

Great fishing Continues!!!

June 2.2015 

I had a charter booked for today and the next two days just to strickly come down to sight fish Cobia. With his long distance drive and the weather being on the fence today and defiantly out the question coming up we decided to reschedule for a later time. There was a very small weather window this morning before the rain and storms so we took advantage. Adam, Jon and I headed out and it didn't take long to get hooked up. In the couple hours we fished we caught 6 Cobia and pulled a really nice one off. Aside from pulling the hook on the big one it was a picture perfect trip. We called it a day around lunch time and rushed in to beat the storm.

It was one of those days where everything came together. We had the Maryland crew out with us today it was 4 people that never caught a Cobia. Needless to say they all left catching their first Cobia and more! We caught 10 total keeping a limit with the biggest being 55-60lbs and releasing another 55-60lber, it was an amazing day on the water with a hell of a crew thank you guys so much for the great trip can't wait to have you back!

Started off June on a good note. We had a great group of guys on the boat and the fishing was good. Unfortunately with the really rough conditions we had to call our trip early. However we still managed a great catch in our short trip. We caught 6 Cobia kept enough for dinner and also caught 1 red drum and broke another one off close to the boat. It was another successful trip and a boat full of happy customers. Thanks again guys can't wait to have y'all back.

Last minute my charter had to reschedule for another date, so we threw a fun trip together. We loaded the boat up and headed out around lunch time to take advantage of the good weather. We saw quite a few fish, but had trouble getting them to cooperate at first. Luckily we ended up finding some hungry fish. Even if we hadn't caught a fish, It would have still been a great day with friends and family.
