Cobia fishing stays great!!

It was a day with tough conditions and the fish weren't eating good. The BIG one did get away after spiting the hook at the boat. On the bright side Bernie and his crew are still enjoying some fresh Cobia for dinner.

Had one my favorite clients back out with us yesterday. With David and his gang it's literally a Comedy Central act and normally awesome fishing every time he comes. It was a great day with some of the best numbers of fish I've seen all year. We had a hard time getting them to bite seemed to be the problem for everyone out there. But we still managed to trick a lot a fish and stayed pretty busy fighting fish most of the day. Enjoy your fresh Cobia guy's and David please get to the gym and work on those cranking arms haha. Thanks so much guys like always looking forward to our next trip together.

May 25,2015 Fish tacos are on the menu, Cobia to 57.5lbs!

We had the Bassett family out with us to enjoy our Memorial Day fishing. They had special orders from Mrs. Bassett prior to our trip to bring back some fresh Cobia for fish taco's. Well it looks like they will be eating taco's and more this upcoming week. It was a great day in tough conditions! Biggest weighed in at 57.5 lbs! Congratulations on your great day guys and can't wait to have you back for more! Big thanks to everyone that has made and continue to make the USA what it is today. Happy Memorial Day!

Melvin and his crew had a big time yesterday. It was a rough ride getting out but it was worth it at the end. Everyone one on the boat had a great time and left with a cooler slammed of meat! Thanks again guys see you back soon!

Epic Cobia Trip

Yesterday was one of those days you dream about and hope to be apart of in a lifetime. With not even having plains to fish yesterday last minute we decided to put a trip together and fished on Aubrey Williams boat. The day honestly couldn't get any better Aubrey brought along some of his buddies that never been Cobia fishing. Its almost unbelievable how many fish we saw and caught. We landed 55 fish total before the storm rolled in on us and we had to leave. We had them to 81lbs and 4 over 70lbs and 3 over 60lbs and several over 50lbs we released several really solid fish and one being close to 75lbs! It was one of those days you can truly call "epic". I am very fortunate to be apart of it thanks Aubrey and the full crew on the look and hook I will never forget that day!

Great start to our Cobia season!! 2 trip report

May 16 & 17th
Finally got the boat fully back together and ready to go for the season. So we took advantage of that great weather window and went south to do some fun fishing. The plain was to go offshore and go dolphin fishing Saturday but after running late we just stuck to Cobia fishing. There wasn't a better way to kick off our 2015 Cobia season. The fishing was great we caught 10 Cobia with the my girlfriend Jordan catching the biggest around 50 lbs. Sunday the fishing continued to stay great. It was a little tougher conditions but we caught 8, kept 6, with the 4 biggest being 76,69,66 and 60 lbs. Congratulations Hank on your personal best being 76lbs!

Last Spring Tog trip!

Fished with Chong,Kenny and Jon yesterday morning for a couple hours on Chong's boat. We had a small weather window so we took advantage and ended our Spring Tog season on a great note. In 3 hours of fishing we caught over 50 Togs and kept our 4 man limit with some of the best quality fish all Spring. Thanks again for the fun trip. Now onto the next species we go.
