Mike,Ken,Brandon and I went and soaked a few bait on the shoals today for some Drum before my Mothers Day dinner. The Drum didn't want to cooperate. But the Rays where relentless we couldn't keep a bait in the water. So with not much time we decided to at least try use some crabs instead of feeding them all to the Rays. We made a quick stop on the way in hopes of catching a release citation Tog. Without having a anchor,proper hooks and rods we did really good we fished for about 30 minutes and caught around 15 Tog biggest 17 inches (all released) not bad considering the circumstances.

April 28.2014 Off the charts tog fishing

With tog fishing still off the charts and good weather for the last fish-able day of the season, we decided to give it one last shot. Joe his uncle, and father met us at the boat ramp at 6:30 and we started making our way to the bridge. As soon as we got set up Joe's uncle caught a beautiful 6lb tog on his first drop. We knew it was gonna be a good quick day. The fishing continued to be phenomenal, everyone on the boat was catching fish left and right. Joe Sr. caught a beautiful fish just shy of 9lbs and his brother had one identical. We caught our limit and many more before 8:30. With the wind picking up and the tide about to change we knew conditions were deteriorating, so we called it a early day and headed in with a healthy limit of togs around 9:45. Great group of guys look forward to having them back soon!

April 26.2014 Tog bite is hot!

Another one of those short weather window again this evening. After lunch time Joesph,Jon Kurowski,Kenny Hoffman and I went out to take advantage of this red hot bay bite. It was a perfect the wind laid out and we caught the tide just right and fishing was as good as it gets! We caught a total of 90-100 Togs and kept our 12 fish limit all over 6lbs and My Dad was the big fish hitter on the boat with his 9.12lber his first Tog citation this year and Jon wasn't far behind him with his fish right under 9 lbs! It was perfect, glad my Father got to get in on the action before the season closes.

It was a perfect day for a bachelor party. The weather window was very minute, so it had to be a early mornin' trip. We had Matt, his father, brother, and a friend with us for a Bachelor fishing trip. None of them had ever been Tog fishing so we gave them the quick run down and got the boat positioned right on the poles. We all steadily picked away at fish, but eventually the Ebb started screaming and the wind started gusting in the 20's so we headed in around 1. However, we had a good mess of fish and a great day on the water! Can't wait to have them back in a couple months! Congratulations again on your big day, Matt

April 22 Remarkable Tog fishing!.

Inshore Tog fishing continues to stay unbeatable in the bay with alot of action. With the amazing forecast today Ken, Jon, and I wanted to take advantage of the last few days of the Tog season. We set up shop and caught our limit before 8 am. Ken brought in the largest with a 22 inch 8 lbs. fish. The day was outstanding and we caught around 40-50 tog.There are only a few days left in the Spring 2014 Tog Season. Come take advantage of this great fishery.Call me today!

April 19.2014 Tog fishing on fire!

Well Jonathan ended the season with a bang! It was his last time for him to Tog fish this year due to his work schedule so it was must for the fish to cooperate and they did-big time! Nolan, Rudy, Jonathan, and I got an early start and set up. It was a little bit of a waiting game but the current eventually turned and we got on a real hot bite. Making a few moves throughout the day made for a consent catch. We caught around 80-100 Togs all day and we kept or 12 fish limit from 5-8lbs! It was a a banner day. Glad to enjoy it will great friends!

April 18.2014 Puppy Drum!!

April 18.2014
Today we had Manuel and his three sons aboard for a half day. It was not the most pleasant weather being windy and cold but the fish cooperated. Carlos was the big hitter on the boat hooking and catching the most out of everyone. We Kept Ten Keeper Puppy Drum for the table and Released the rest, It was awesome trip with alot of action and smiles all around. I look forward to seeing them back this summer.
