Absolutely world class fishing to say the least today. Today we had Bobby and his crew with us and it started off wide open from the gate with landing a slob 50lber and the ball kept rolling from there. We got on a lot of fi...sh and it was some serious catching going on with doubles and triples on everyone was in the action from casting and hooking to netting fish it was wide open. So after the group had enough with Cobias they elected to the idea try after some Flounders. We got set up and it wasn't red hot we made a few moves and got on some solid fish. Brandon caught stud one 26" and Doug having one 24.5" and I also got in on the big fish action and lucked up and caught one 27.5" 8.12 we caught a total of 10 flounders with 9 keepers it was amazing day with great people!

August 27.2013 Flounders and Cobia !!

Talk about a wide open day of fishing in the bay. Today we Had Bobby and his crew with us and we headed out with really rough seas. With the sea conditions it was actually to the point that made Cobia fishing out the questio...n so we went and got set up on the Flounders and we made a few drops and nothing but toads so we made a few moves and started picking at a few fish we caught 7 and had 4 keepers biggest was right under 6lbs and pulled the hook on couple more. So after the wind fell out we went after some Cobia it started off slow but we stuck it out and got on some fish and it was all action from there we kept a limit and released a lot more, the biggest fish today was 59" Stud it was a great day cant wait to have that group back!

August 26 Fly Fishing!

I had Ann an Jeff aboard today the first goal was to get Ann a solid Cobia we scratched that off right out the gate with a double and she landed a nicer fish after a few pics we released them. So the rest of the day Jeffs go...al was in full force trying to catch a nice Cobia on the fly. We saw a lot of fish and got a lot of chances but getting the boat right and close enough for Jeff in open water was a challenging task. We finally got everything lined up and had a 45lber explode the fly and it was game on I got the boat turned around right and Jeff fought the fish to the net and the hook on the fly straitened out and lost it 2 foot from the boat. So after a little disappointment we were still determined and we made many more shots on fish and manage to get a solid 30lber it was a great day with good company and I learned fly fishing is extremely difficult.

Great fishing!!!

I had the privilege of fishing the VBBT on the Delta Dawn last few days we pre fished the tournament and caught 3 whites and the first day of the tournament we caught a GrandSlam plus 2 whites and we had 6 whites the second ...day we placed 10 out of 65-70 boats. So after being out of the Bay game for a few days I was ready to get back out. Willie and George called me to see if I wanted to ride along with them they had some client friend in from Georgia so we headed out and it started off really slow and really rough conditions. We finally found some fish and got a shot and landed a solid 40lber. After getting cleaned up it we got on a really good bite and started catching until the Georgia boys had enough. The biggest of the day weighed in at 60lbs! it was a great day with good people!
*Not much Cobia time left got a couple open dates soon call today!

Another Big day with a lot of shots! Today we had Jason his father and couple of his friends with us. We headed out and off the gate we landed a solid pair and it was no stop action for the rest of the day. We also busted ou...t some light tackle rods toward the end of the day and had a ball catching solid fish on trout rods. Throughout the day we kept a nice limit and released a lot more!

August 19.2013 Great catch

This morning I called Peter said "the radar looks wet". Peter replied are the fish scared of water? So a hour later we were heading out with Peter and his two sons. We started off "old school" today and got the chum pot roll...ing and it wasn't long we started getting bites with Both of his sons hooking and catching there own Cobias! and not to mention a 100 sharks..... We did manage a few nice keeper Cobia and the smallest Cobia I have ever caught and also pulled a really solid fish off about 2 foot from the gaff. But the rain stopped and we got a little visibility so we were eager to go looking. It wasn't 5 minutes Brandon spots a nice fish it was a 50-60lber and that was another solid fish that gets away close. So after re grouping and about hour later we got on our "A" Game and we started catching! Throughout the Day we landed a total of 10 and pulled the hook on 4 more it was a great day with a fun group!

August 14.2013 Worked hard!

We worked really hard today it was terrible conditions we were faced with a 8-10 degree temperature drop and really rough seas and cloudy skies made sight fishing really tough. Around lunch time we still haven't seen a fish a...long with many others. David and his crew were 100% determined to stick it out and bring home some fish. We finally got our shot and we made it count and David's brother got to land his first Cobia.
