Recap August 14th - 16th

Another great weekend of fishing in the books. The weather and the fishing was absolutely perfect. We started off Friday with Jermey and his crew out with us for two day's. We started our trip off catching Spadefishing and caught our limit within the first hour. Once we had a limit we went Cobia fishing the first day we caught 14 Cobia and had 4 over 50 inches on Saturday we only fished a Halfday with Jermey and his crew we caught a limit of Spadefish and two Cobia and pulled the hook on a couple more. We got back to the dock around lunch time with the perfect conditions we couldn't resist so my parents and a couple friends headed back out for a couple hours. It was a great time Ashley got to catch her first Cobia and Jacklyn got to catch her biggest Cobia to date. To top it off with my Mother caught her first Cobia citation that we decided to release, the fish measured 54.5 inches! Sunday we had Vikki and crew out with us. Started the day off the same way we scratched out a 5 man limit of Spadefish in the morning then went Cobia fishing. It didn't take long to get hooked up on the first Cobia of the day we saw a triple and hooked a double in the first 10 minutes of fishing. The action stayed pretty consistent all day. We kept a limit of Cobia and released some solid fish up to 53 inches!
