July 13. 2015 Cobia Fishing

That's why they call it fishing, not catching! We had Steve and his crew out with us to try catch there first Cobia. The weather wasn't favorable for sight fishing so we went chumming. It wasn't long we hooked up on our first fish, after a long fight and getting the fish out the anchor we got the fish boat side and it spit the hook, the fish was over 50lbs. After getting everything back out our little bit of bad luck continued and we pulled another fish off that was around 20lbs. Finally the rest of our day we turned it around and hooked and caught every bite we had. We landed 3 keeper Cobia and a bunch of sharks.
