We Had a short window before the storms rolled in so Bill, Randy, Joe, Jon and I headed out for a quick trip to give it our first try in Virginia for Cobia this season. Once we were out, the glare wasn't fully burned off yet so it made it difficult to see but, fifteen minutes after looking Bill spotted our first fish, about 20 lbs., but was reluctant to eat. For the next couple hours we saw a lot of fish but we were having a hard time getting them to eat. We tried everything but they wanted no parts of it. Then you would have thought we flipped a switch. We caught a nice pair 45 lber and 30 lber and it was all up hill from there. For the next hour we got on a really good bite and ended up keeping our limit and released more. Our Largest fish was 45 lbs. We called it off early to get Randy back in to get to work on time!
