October 31. 2014 Report

October 31.2014
Well there hasn't been much fishing for me lately here in Virginia. I have had a few trips canceled due to foul weather. And spent some time with some friends delivering a boat to Florida although we did manage to do alot of catching on the way. Had a little weather break so Nolan and I jumped on his boat and spent a couple hours jigging in the River. The conditions where challenging with the wind going against the tide made it a little difficult but we made it happen, In the couple hours we fished we caught around a dozen Striper and kept our limit. I was glad to see a nicer class of fish then last time our biggest fish was around 35 inches. Hopefully its a good sign to our up coming Striper season!

Oct 18 2014 Fresh Striper

Oct 18 2014
We gave it our first attempt at some early season Striper fishing. I jumped on with Brandon and Rob for a quick trip in the River yesterday afternoon. It was a great productive couple hours we caught around 20 fish and kept our limit with the biggest around 23 inches nothing huge but a great time on light tackle. Ever fish we caught yesterdat was on a RFT Flinchin Minnow.

October 2 2014 Drum report

October 2 2014
Today we helped out Chris he wanted to take his boat and a good friend of his out for a half day fishing trip. The goal was to put Jimmy on a big red drum. The day started out slow with just catching Bluefish, Rays and Flounder that we caught on a Drum Rod. We made a move and got what everyone was hoping for. The biggest Drum of the day was 46 inches. Thanks again guys, I look forward to our next trip.
